The mission of the Southwood High School Freshman Academy is to ensure a seamless transition for 9th grade students from middle school to high school in a safe, nurturing, and culturally positive environment by cultivating academic excellence, social maturity, and personal growth through small learning communities, thus, producing successful life-long learners, in a changing global society.
